- Day 1
Oslo
First day in the capital
- Roseslottet — Vebjørn and Eimund Sand's open-air WWII memorial on the Holmenkollen ridge
- Across to Hovedøya, the nearest of the Oslofjord islands
- The older adults take in the Opera House roof and the Munch Museum; the younger ones wander the city
- Check in at the Tjuvholmen hotel
- Dinner on the Oslo Harbor near City Hall
- Day 2
Oslo
The city by bike
- Walk from the Tjuvholmen hotel to Viking Biking (Nedre Slottsgate 4J)
- Private e-bike tour: Akershus Fortress → City Hall → Karl Johans gate → Royal Palace → Vigeland Park → Frogner → Tjuvholmen / Aker Brygge
- Free — sauna, wandering, or finding the local angle
- Day 3

Across the country in a single day, Oslo → Bergen
Ungdommene (the Youngsters)
- Bergen Railway: Oslo S → Myrdal
- Flåm Railway: Myrdal → Flåm
- Electric bus up to the Stegastein viewpoint
- Nærøyfjord cruise: Flåm → Gudvangen
- Bus through the valley: Gudvangen → Voss
- Voss Railway: Voss → Bergen
- Sleep at the Bergen hotel near the wharf

The drive north

- Depart Oslo, drive north toward Trondheim
- Check in at the Trondheim hotel on the Nidelva river
- Day 4
Bergen → Lillehammer
A morning in Bergen, then east by air and north by road
Ungdommene (the Youngsters)
- Bergen Fish Market on the harbor
- Fløibanen funicular up Mt. Fløyen
- Bryggen — the medieval wharf and its row of wooden warehouses
- Flight Bergen → Oslo
- Drive Gardermoen → Lillehammer (~1h45m)
Stjørdal, Hegra & Kylloplass
The heritage day
Gråhårsklubben (the Oldsters)
- Drive out from Trondheim to the Stjørdal valley
- Værnes Church — the stone medieval parish church beside the airport
- Hegra Church and the Hegra Fortress ridge above the river
- Kylloplass — the ancestral farmstead
- Return to Trondheim for the night
- Day 5
Lillehammer
A day in town while the Gråhårsklubben drive south
Ungdommene (the Youngsters)
- Storgata — walk the long shopping street
- The 1994 Olympic Park and Lysgårdsbakkene ski jump
- Reunion dinner — the whole group at one table
Trondheim → Lillehammer
Drive south to the reunion city
Gråhårsklubben (the Oldsters)
- Drive Trondheim → Lillehammer down the E6 (~5 hours)
- Arrive Lillehammer — reunion dinner
- Day 6
Lillehammer
Together in town
- Visit Øyer Church up the valley from Lillehammer
- Walk through old-town Lillehammer along Storgata
- Day 7
Lillehammer → Oslo Gardermoen
Last full day, then the long drive back south
- Maihaugen — the open-air folk museum on the hillside
- Marthe & Trygve depart for Croatia
- Drive Lillehammer → Oslo Gardermoen
- Check in at the Gardermoen airport hotel
- Day 8
